VISION
Vision is the monthly service of Revival. It takes place on the second Sunday of the month at St. John's Church in Woodbridge from 7:00pm - 9:30pm.
The first Vision was in October 1999 when some of the young people at St. John's Church decided they wanted to organise and run their own service. Around 80 people turned out for it. Since then Vision has grown and developed. We now have our own well rehearsed band, lighting rig, video screen, and café afterwards.
The main purposes of Vision are as follows:
- A place to experience God through worship, teaching and prayer.
- A service that is owned by, run by and aimed at young people.
- Somewhere that is welcoming and accessible to both those living locally and those from farther away whether Christian or not.
- To break away from the stereotypical image that church services are just for boring old people who like singing hymns.
Vision is typically made up of a number of elements. We always have periods of worship with up to date songs, a talk often from guest speakers, a chance for everyone to respond to what's been said, a quiet room that's open during the evening to escape to and we always try and do something amusing too.

Once a year we take Vision into Elmshurst Park, Woodbridge. It follows on from "Praise in the Park", which is put on each year by Churches Together in Woodbridge and Melton. Vision in the Park is an opportunity to take the message of God outside and to praise him in the beauty of creation.
